Ali Froghi

Born in Afghanistan, 1995

Ali is a Hazara fine art student and self-taught photographer. For the last nine years, he lived in Indonesia where he is a refugee. his art focuses on Figurative drawing and expressionism, In 2018, he contributed to the exhibition "berdiam bertandang'-- The refugee painting exhibition held at the national gallery of Indonesia in Jakarta.

His photography mostly explores refugees’ daily lives in Black and White.

In 2020, one of his pictures is selected for the Indonesian Wikipedia Main page for the year 2020 representing Bugis’ traditional, Baju Bodo.
